A do-it -yourselfer will not find it very difficult to install a vanity. It takes only a few hours to do this.
Removing old vanity1. First of all, shut off water lines and disconnect supply to the vanity
sink. Remove the p-trap (central part of curved pipe)

1. Determine the exact location of the studs in the wall using a stud finder.
To mark the layout of the studs, trace a vertical line using a Carpenter's Level.
2. Next, position the vanity. To do this use marks on the wall and opening made
for the plumbing. Level and shim.
3. Following the vertical lines traced on the wall, anchor the vanity into the
studs using screw

4. Reconnect the plumbing by first replacing the p-trap. Use a Teflon tape
for this job. Then, seal the joints.
5. Connect water supply lines and start supply to vanity sink.
6. To attach countertop to the vanity use bathroom caulk around the top of the
vanity. Place the counter top on the vanity. Press firmly. Let it dry.
